00VI Power Tube Block OFF Plate - Plexi Glass

Hey guys,

I made a block off plate for my 00VI as I removed my power tube. I made 2 out of plexi glass. I painted mine black but these are see through and have protection on the Plexi glass to protect it until installation. I'm asking for $35 shipped anywhere in Canada/US.

Note: I only have one and only one. I'm not here to take away business from t6378tp as he clearly bet me to the punch.

I'll take pictures of the item tomorrow. Again only one for sale, not taking business away from anyone (ok maybe one but...I just made a spare as it was quick to cut a second and it was just in case.)

Paypal Only,

Thanks

This is what you will get.

This is mine painted black on my car.

Yup, you have the option, I painted mine black. The brown stuff is just to protect it so it doesn't get scratched. This fits like a glove and work perfectly on my boosted Maxima.

What does this do? Does it have the same results as a 5.5 block off plate?

Sorry for the noob question lol

On a 2000-2001 Maxima you have a variable intake. This allows the short runners to activate at a certain rpm and allow the motor to breathe better at higher rpms. If the power tube is removed you should be able to breathe a bit better at higher rpms. This block off plate is ment to block of the variable switch which activated the power tub. Makes the engine bay look cleaner/less cluttered.

On the dyno I had this stuck to open all the time as when it was closed I was having issues with the power tube moving and causing the car to have rich spikes. This is on my supercharged Maxima putting down 345whp.
