FS: 5th / 5.5 Gen Grounding kit

A note: The 4th Gen kit will install to a 95-99 I30 the 5th Gen kit will install on a 00-01 I30 and the 5.5 Gen Auto kit will install on a 02-04 I35 no modification or alteration needed.

The kit cost $59.00 ($54.50 if you choose Berkshire) SHIPPED (no extra charge!) anywhere in the US. Canadian and Mexican ordered will incur a $6.50 shipping fee however. The order form can be found at the top of this listing or here:

US Orders: http://shinjiduo.angelfire.com

Canadian or Mexican Orders: http://shinjiduo.angelfire.com/canadamexico/

As for the product; a grounding kit allows your electrical system to work more efficiently by siphoning off power spikes caused by your cars alternator do to irregular power draws and rpm levels during it's operation. This allows for clean precise signals to be sent to the various CPUs and sensors that need them. This has many benefits which include:

- Higher gas mileage
- Better radio reception
- Faster power windows
- Brighter interior and exterior lights
- Smoother idle
- Faster Rev
- Faster automatic transmission shifts
- Heavy draw electrical accessories like your fan does not cause light dimming or effect your idle in any way.
- Longer alternator life
- Less voltage spikes means aftermarket LEDs will be far less likely to burn out in your car. (Especially protects on start up)
- Aftermarket LEDs will cut all the way off (If you have that problem).
- Made 4AWG (2x Thicker than 8Gauge) Stinger Audio wire and 3M nickel coated copper terminal ends.
- Step by step picture intructions provided online in PDF format.
- Comes with all mounting equipment needed.
- In General your car will feel like new in some ways even better than new in others. (Especially the auto shifts)

The kit cost $59.00 SHIPPED (no extra charge!) anywhere in the US. Canadian and Mexican ordered will incur a $6.50 shipping fee however. The order form can be found at the top of this listing or here:

Canadian or Mexican Orders: http://shinjiduo.angelfire.com/canadamexico/

I am also offer another option for those of us that might want all of the benfits of the kit but also save a few dollars; Berkshire marine wire is a little less flexible than Stinger (but plenty flexible enough fo this application) but it actually has a little more copper in it for better conductivity (Best in the industry) and plus it is made right here in the US out of Leeds, MA (A little hypocritical since we drive Japanese cars, I know.). That option is also available on the order form and will drop the kit's price from $59 to $54.50 Shipped but is only in one color: plain black. Here are the color choices:

Translucent Black (Personal Favorite)

Crimson Red

Carbon Grey

Clear Silver

Island Blue

Berkshire

Install is going well except for the fact that there is no 8MM bolt on the end of my starter but instead a rusty screw(OEM, have yet to successfully remove it). Also, when tightening the bolt by my dipstick it got to a point where there was too little clearance between the motor and bolt to continue tightening with a socket(and a wrench is too long to fit), leaving the cable end incompletely tightened down.

Let me know if these are problems you encountered and if you did how I should overcome them.

Thanks

Based on what I have been told even the shifting is improved on 6 speeds but I do not claim it as I personally have no point of reference on a manual Maxima with the grounding upgrade already done. All the other effects however, are exactly the same between the Auto and Manual
