I was going to use these as an economical replacement for my rusted out Pre-Cats and Y-Pipe, but got Cattman's.

Yes they will fit an 03 and fishtale btw those custom maxima headers are the EXACT same headers he's selling.

 

I'm not sure, the application is listed for the 4th-5th gen 3L. I wouldn't want to sell them for questionable use on a 5.5 gen 3.5L. Then have the buyer be upset if they didn't fit. No offense, but I suggest you look at other options.

Note: We have not personally test fitted this year range yet. Can not guarantee fitment. Requires adding an oxygen sensor on inlet on the front manifold.

 

The block is the same so the headers y-pipe will fit together onto the 02-03 just as they would on the 95-01. The only thing is for you 5.5s is that your stock headers/ypipe are set up like the cali-spec 95-01 so you won't be able to just use the y-pipe by itself or the headers by itself but together they will fit and also you may need to have another o2 bung welded in or you can run a o2 sim and be done with it since removing the cats is going to set them off anyway. Now mind you some have reported fitment issues from these while others haven't so its going to depend, but for the price you CAN'T GO WRONG.

 

If I were to recommend these for a 3.5 (which I'm not). I'd be concerned about differences in the heads. Port configuration and/or alignment issues that could cause leaks/fitment problems. Not to mention, the smaller primaries/etc. adequate for a 3L may be restrictive on a 3.5L. Food for thought, despite the price! Not to sound like a deal killer, I want to sell these parts. BUT that said, I don't want the buyer to be upset and say I misled them either.

 

The same headers that fit the vq30de and vq30dek also fit the vq35de. Thats why anyone can run Cattmans headers etc from 4th gen to 5.5 gen

I have a 4th gen with a 02 3.5 6spd. This setup will bolt up to a 3.5 with no problem. I only took them off cause the weld faild at the flange on the front header. So off they came. Im still using the y pipe connected to stock 3.0 headers on a 02 3.5. I wouldnt worry so much as IF they will fit, cause they will. My only concern is how long will they last before they deside to fail. Then again they may not.

 

Because Cattman headers were designed for the 02-03 / 3.5L, and to be backward compatible on the 95-01 / 3.0L.

 

Bro they fit there are people with the 3.0 obx and these on their 3.5s and you can take the 3.0 cattmans that were first made for the 3.0 and put them on your 3.5. Its been done many times with the headers and the y-pipe even.

Example that they will fit.
