And Yes. Plenty of people sell things that are new to sites. I have NEVER had issue with any site but this one. Like I said. NO MORE. This site sux as far as the quality of people on the selling side. From now on I will just buy new parts to replace it. No big deal really, just amazed that out of over 30 forums in 15+ years I have never had 2 people **** me over in the whole period of time, but on this site, its happened 2 times in 2 months.

People must really be hard up for money. Sorry F*ckers. They should just do us all a favor and jump in front of a bus.

I wouldn't say it is the site necessarily...I've been on here a while and have purchased a number of items. Only been screwed two times in almost 10 years...

 

I havent been screwed once in 5 years....dispute has been filed... im a lil pissed right now i texted him with no reply... my engine came in the mail along with my msd 8969 which i order AFTER the 00vi was purchased....

 

so how many of us have filed claims?

Oh I would absolutely say its this site and some of the people on it. Like I said, over 15 years of forum purchases on HUNDREDS of cars, NEVER had an issue this bad.

Well i shall let you guys know how it goes..... i just got a reply through text message from him and it reads as follows

"Hey man, I was in a bad car wreck and stuck in a wheel chair for atleast three months, so im not gonna be able to ship it. I'm going to refund your money today. Sorry about this, when I get better lll get in touch and see if you still need it, I'll give you a big discount for all the bs"

As the previous post said, I was in a bad car wreck that's why I was absent and did not respond on my phone which was destroyed in the wreck.
I'm sorry for the inconvience to anyone the has paid and not received the parts. Everyone who has paid And not recieved there parts will receive a refund today. If you opened a dispute I can't refund the money till the dispute is closed or resolved, so if you need your money today close the dispute so I can refund it.

 

I just got a similar email saying I need to close the dispute so he can refund me....

 

It's not the site or the people. It's people like you are the problem that jump to conclusion and threaten people. I'm sure that's why you got ripped off last time and after sending me that threating email I got a good mind to keep you messily 30$ your attuide is the problem

The reason he wants you to cancel the dispute is so he can get off scott free and not have a claim against him. Once you cancel it, he is off the hook so he can continue effing people over. Actually the way paypal works is if theres an open investigation they freeze your funds until dispute is closed.. if you come to a resolution and close dispute it will allow seller to then issue refund.... ive been down a similiar road in the past.. mebeing the buyer but from ebay instead of a forum...hes suppose to be sending mine now....

 

I'd keep your money too, you're acting like a child. The guy came back and explained, give him a chance to rectify it before you break out the pitchforks.

Well him and i been texting back and forth and i checked my paypal... 230 and 10 dolars have been refunded just not available as of yet.

According to paypal it is being withheld until payment has cleared...est date is 10/17/2012 so we will see what happens,hopefully all goes smooth and seller is good for his word.

i do know that when refunded sometimes it takes 2-5 business days to clear properly and b refunded...especially if sent on a weekend..

 

So I guess this means I can't get the subwoofer?

No its not a matter of getting caught because i was texting him back and forth on day no problem...next day i texted a simple question and he didnt reply and here it is 3 days later and hes replied before i posted my comment on this thread earlier.... explained everything and apoligized and said he would refund my money....then later on he asked i remove my dispute so he can refund my money and that he was sorry for the situation. Not to sound like a **** but who are you to say hes lying?? if all the peoples money is getting refunded obviously hes good to his word....ignorant people are why alot of us dont use these forums much anymore because the maturity has decreased and immaturity has increased...people tend to forget why Danny has the forum still....knowledge and information,technically the classifieds is not something that NEEDS to be here,he allows it because it helps us all out whether we be selling or buying ......so instead of jumping down someones throat you should ask yourself if you were in a similiar situation and had to do what hes doing how would you feel?

 

"Got caught" ? It's not like this is some elaborate scam that got blown wide open. He didn't send stuff, people started questioning it, he showed up and apologized and is now refunding money. It's a pretty open and shut case but you seem to think you've been involved in some kind of giant complex scam and only you were smart enough to see what was going on.

I am glad people are getting thier money back. It sounds like he used his mothers paypal acct and that is why people are getting refunded...she probably got pissed considering she is emailing me about it.

 

I ordered a ecu from him when he first posted and he shipped it priority mail and send confirmation number with no problem not saying he was perfect but I received my item and I told one of the members who pm me
