WA Maxima Retrofit Headlights
Maxima Retrofit Headlights
Hey guys,
I have a pair of Ebay headlights retrofitted with OEM G37 Bi-X and STI-R lens and TSX high beam halogen reflector. I will also include Phillips 85122 bulbs and the 50W Morimotor Ballasts. The bulbs are not matching and to my best knowledge they are not original Phillips (fake). They still put out tons of light though. Ballast are also not from the same generation. one is newer than the other. Again, I can't see any different in term of output. it also comes with aftermarket H1 halogen bulbs. This is also complete with LED Parking bulbs and LED turn signals. I will also include brand new relay harness with it. The only thing you need is different turn signal flasher so that the LED turn signal would blink correctly.
Headlights Lenses are not in new condition, but still in very good shape with no yellowing. All tabs are functional with the side alignment pins being repaired since. The high beam reflector aiming was a little high ( shining the tree ) but you can barely notice the output anyway since the G37 high beam overpowers them. This could also be wired for your DRL if you want to.
I have this setup for almost a year now and has been reliable. Won retrofit of the month contest last summer when it was quad setup. It is now dual setup.

Surprisingly the EBAY parking led bulb still work considering it was only $15 a pair. No problem with LED turn signal at all. Occasional slight fogging on the passenger side high beam corner is expected if you sit in traffic with heavy rain, but it should go away eventually. Drive side has never ever fogged.
Here are few pics few taken few minutes ago after car wash.

Today was raining the whole day, this is the type I'd condensation I get on the passenger side.

Anyway, I'm asking for $600 OBO + shipping. This is the whole package, headlights, bulbs, relay, and ballasts. I spent close to $700 for parts alone, I have the breakdown if you care. I wasn't going to sell this but I got too many headlights and HID components and need to fund my CNC convertion project. I need to finish my retrofit before I can ship these though since I don't want to drive with halogen.
I also have few sets of OEM projectors as well as FXRs and few sets of OEM & Morimoto ballasts if you guys need any.
You can get more detail about the built in this thread

I'll put more pictures soon.
Thanks

Ballasts and engine bay lay out
Here are the ballasts, white one is about 8 months, black one is about 1.5 years.

I'll post more pictures when I take them off the car.
Price is Best Offer guys, who knows I might let it go
, lets get these to a good home.
FYI, Genes1s = MSU2000. I changed my user name to match future retrofitting and design service I'm going to launch this summer.

Make offer guys. I might be interested in trade also for IPad, tablets, or even your stock housings especially OEM ones. Or if you guys are interested in the TL retrofit, I can sell those too. Need to sells my inventory for building CNC machine.
Lots of option I think, first thing comes in mind is single TSX with TSX-R lens. Small enough for the space but pretty good in performance. Use E46-R shroud to match the elongangated shape of the low beam bucket. Keep it clean, no painting, no led stuff, stay with OEM parts.
if you want quick, relatively cheap, and decent performance, Mini Hi is pretty decent. It really is depend on what you are looking for and how much money you want to spend.
