He makes them for the '00/01 VQ30de-K so shouldn't be anything different from a 4th gen...

Do you have to get a bigger TB to utilize the full potential of this mod?

The easiest way is to convert to the 5th gen/5.5 maf. We can make them for you for the fourth gen as a direct bolt. I prefer welding to epoxy which is why we lean toward the conversion.

Thsi mod doesnt require a larger throttle body although it will help

Ive been out the loop for the last month due to a wedding **Yeah** a funeral and completing a six speed swap

If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email as i cant access the forum from work (830-7pm) so im not on as regularly as i was at my last duty station, on my email (cant.get.ryte@gmail.com or ebay.workout@gmail.com) or text/call 2535493731

doug

I've been searchin but haven't been able to get any info on a 5th gen maf swap for a 4th gen, tho from how it sounds you guys have been doin it. It'd be cool to get a write up goin for that. My main concern is throwin codes tho.

Inbox the op. Car will sputter and die if you don't have a tuning device to make corrections guy. If you don't have a vafc2 or apexi neo or anything to tune with you're going to mess up the car.

We spoke. He has to add fuel. The auto tune feature will not make the changes unless u can account for the maf diameter change. The math the wcu is trying to do is off.

Do you have any 4" pipes that will accept a N62 sensor?

If i can source a spare i can fab something up. looking at doing this with a local guys car (dameion) but more than likely would have to be done by epoxying the maf on due to the plastic and encasement of the sensor.

To use N62 sensor you will have to cut the sensor housing and epoxy it to the pipping. A bit more to it then swapping sensors. I am going to try and run a 5th gen sensor on a 4th gen with Greddy EU

How are you doing

This will require tuning but will eliminate the need of a maf housing. Put on your filter and tune. This will make POWER.
I'm interested in purchasing your 4 inch intake how do I go by doing so ?
