4th gen maf doesnt unbolt from the housing so itd be a lite more work to accomodate. But it can be done

Here's a little something. My 4" intake, with apexi neo tuning device, bigger injectors and 7th gen tb, more to come soon!

The easiest way is to convert to the 5th gen/5.5 maf. We can make them for you for the fourth gen as a direct bolt. I prefer welding to epoxy which is why we lean toward the conversion.
Thsi mod doesnt require a larger throttle body although it will help

Inbox the op. Car will sputter and die if you don't have a tuning device to make corrections guy. If you don't have a vafc2 or apexi neo or anything to tune with you're going to mess up the car.
We spoke. He has to add fuel. The auto tune feature will not make the changes unless u can account for the maf diameter change. The math the wcu is trying to do is off.

If i can source a spare i can fab something up. looking at doing this with a local guys car (dameion) but more than likely would have to be done by epoxying the maf on due to the plastic and encasement of the sensor.Originally Posted by DinoSR20
Do you have any 4" pipes that will accept a N62 sensor?
Senior Member
To use N62 sensor you will have to cut the sensor housing and epoxy it to the pipping. A bit more to it then swapping sensors. I am going to try and run a 5th gen sensor on a 4th gen with Greddy EU

This covers the intake pipe at 11inches long, steel maf block welded on, breather tube welded on. Above is one of my early ones.
This will require tuning but will eliminate the need of a maf housing. Put on your filter and tune. This will make POWER.
I'm interested in purchasing your 4 inch intake how do I go by doing so ?Originally Posted by Cant_Get_Ryte
