TX WTB 6 Speed Parts
#4
Honest suggestion, find a wrecked 02-03. It's much easier, or buy one that's practically junk. I paid 300 Canadian for mine when I did my swap. With the entire set of keys, the only thing that was wrong with it was the rust EVERYWHERE.

Nice! I'll definitely look into it. This is just one of the few options I'm using to find the parts I need.

If you want to convert just find a junk fully in tact 6 speed maxima. IT IS SO MUCH EASIER.
If you need HLSD but can only find open diff Maxima. Find a spec v transmission (they all had HLSD)
2002 Spec V = 4.42 (this is not good idea if you city a lot, you're hunting for gears a lot)
2003+ spec V = 4.1
Gen 6 Maxima transmission will work too but not all are HLSD (4.1)
2007+ Altima supposedly will work and have best synchros but NO HLSD
Also you will have to find a way to "fill in the space" when you mount the 6 speed shifter in or it'll be noisy.
