Okay but I'm running dangerously low on cash and thinking about just using a rocker switch although I know about as much about car wiring as brain surgery

I found one at LKQ. BTW I looked at one from an Altima (pulled it before I realized I was in an Altima) then found an I30 with a much nicer one. The part numbers were the same.I got a bunch of dash bulbs and other small electrical parts too
