Can someone help jme figure out What have I dont to my cars A/C?
The gage read that my a/c was overcharged. I released the pressure to the recommended specs, but the compressor went off causing hot air. So I am thinking my gage my be reading wrong because I refilled it and the compressor came back on. It cools but not as well as it did when the gage read that it was overfilled. Trying to get my air cold enough to deal with the heat. If it wasnt this hot I would have just dealt with the a/c the way it has been for years. Wondering would it hurt for me to fill it even when it reads that its over charged?

You're getting hot air because you discharged the freon. Doing AC work really should be left to the professionals.
