Just a bunch of slow **** 4 cyl's... Never seen a 3.5 that would race. I like them, the only thing I dislike is the interior.

Yea the interior took some time to get used to. But I can't find a 2K2 Maxima that will race me. I have raced a 2001 5-speed and smoked him and are all 2001's limited @ 130mph

I would have bought an Altima, if the interior compared AT all to a Maxima and if they did't have those tail lights ...

Got a lot of respect for the 5sp 3.5's tho. Can't wait to race one

I tried to buy an Altima but walked out with my 2k2 6spd instead. It turned out to be cheaper.
(in price, definitely not on the interior!)

I'd be glad to go up against you on a track, but I see you're in Georgia. You might want to post in the regional forum which includes GA and try to find somebody who is willing to meet you at the track. I'm sure you find a taker.

I'm a modified 2K1 5-speed and, no, I'm not limited at 130.

I think the GXE's are limited because of their tire rating.

That is true. I know Chevy used to limit the z28's that didnt come with optional ZR rated tires. Those things would haul a$$ till you hit 115, and then just DIE ! You would sit there like WTF ??

That had to be in the winter. The heat here in Hotlanta now has to cost you atleast a 1/2 sec. if not more.

Do you have a 6 speed or auto ALtima? I saw a silver Altima at the dealers when I was checking out the 2003 Maxima, it was beautiful! Did the dealer come down very much off MSRP?

im kinda different than most. i love how the rear section of the 5th gen maxima looks. now, if the maxima's had the altima front and maxima rear... id be all over it!!

but yeah, the altima rear looks fugly to me and the interior... OMG! i thought i was in a super-sized sentra. the engine makes up for it though.

I have a silver 3.5SE 5-speed with every option you can get.
I think I paid somewhere around the price of $27,000.00 back in Feb. at Team Nissan in Merrietta.
