Aftermarket straight from dealer...
Aftermarket straight from dealer...
Over here in San Diego, Mossy Nissan in Oceanside has a 2k3 Maxima with an aftermarket grill already... check it out:

The grill resembles an Infiniti grill.
Mossy Oceanside also had some kind of performance/sport package for the 2k2 altima awhile ago. If I remember correctly, it added an aftermarket grill as well and some kind of exhaust system that replaced that flat section Altima owners discovered. This exhaust supposedly bumped up the Altimas HP to Maxima specs or something close to it. Don't quote me on anything... this was awhile ago and I can't seem to find any Altimas on the Mossy website with this package anymore.

As you can tell nobody really cared for it. I guess it would have been smart for them to ask our opinion on a couple different prototypes before they went into production on one.

Oh well, another lost aftermarket opportunity for us and some profit for them.
That Mossy seems like a pretty cool dealer though. Their website is among the best. They list the MSRP, their price, and the actual VIN number. They even have a picture of each of the car's they have on their lot. Most other dealers have ****ty websites.

Additionally, they actually have a performance shop (mossyperformance.com?).
To add icing to the cake, it seems even here in Houston a performance shop will be added right beside the dealership itself so as to cater to the more enthusiastic enthusiasts
