Spark Plug Question

I know the stock plugs are good for 100,000 miles, but I think thats under normal driving. How about driving your car like you sole it everyday with a few breaks here and there? Should I change um out? I have 27K on my 2K max now. What do you all think?

I changed my NGK Platinums at 51k, the old plugs look great but I changed them any way. Big improvement in mpg and performance. Based on this experience plus what others have had I plan on changing them at 40k from now on. I would definitely stick with NGK. NGK has recently added an Iridium (center electrode) plug that has a platinum side electrode. I would really like to try them out but I have less than 3k on my new NGK Laser Platinum Plugs. I got the phone number for NGK Corporate Technical from their website, talked with John a very helpful guy and got the part number of this new hybrid Iridium. Sorry but I mistakenly threw the part number away. Once you get the part number from John you can get the plugs from your vendor of choice. I would be very interested in how they perform!

Be well!!!!
