The only advice i can give you is stop abusing it. Because no matter how strong the car is it will fall apart sooner if u run it hard. There is nothing bad in chirping 2ng but doing it a lot is not good.

What! Newman, you should be able to chirp 3rd? Powershift from 2-3 and u definately chirp.
PoLo - Newman is right if you just bought your car you still have to break it in man. Talk about premature wear & tear.

i cant powershift from 2nd to 3rd. my shifter basically wont let me. it never enguages if i try to powershift. i just end up grinding the hell out of it.

The easiest way to chirp 3rd is to shift at about 5500 RPM, I can always get it to chirp there.
i tried it last night when i went out. finally i can nail the 2-3 shift without messing it up but i still didnt get a chirp out of my car. had the gas to the floor when i shifted. maybe i shifted too late. it was probably closer to 6500 than 5500.
i could search but my computer is slow as **** so it wouldnt be worth it so ill ask you ethan. what are the supposed optimal shift points for the 6-speed?

I thought people were BSing when they said they were chirping the shift to 3rd, but I'm a believer now (with lift-throttle shifts!!). The shift into 2nd is more like a squawk that a chirp. Don't really think it does too much damage, but wouldn't recommend it on a daily basis-and powershifts are a definite no.

Depends on your cars power band, you would need to dyno to know. For me my car peaks at 6200 RPM and my tach is 400 RPM fast, so I shift at about 6600 rpm. My car holds 200 FWHP until 6350 so sometimes I even shift at 6700 RPM

man i tried it again this afternoon. i can basically peel out in 2nd gear. really light up those tires. but i cant get so much as a squeek when shifting to 3rd. im sure its just my shifting skills. maybe ill get the 2-3 chirp in a little bit of time.

The HLSD may make it even harder to do or it may make it impossible, I don't really know.

You really have to know how to shift fast. Going from 2 to 3rd on the 6spd maxima tranny is hard to do quick. once you learn it's pretty easy, just don't bust the braket off your tranny like I did

Newman you are crackin me up here. I think your HLSD has nothing to do with it. If anything its better..... instead of leaving a mark of one wheel burnout(like my car) you'll leave two!
