Tires wearing out on edges fast. Help!
I have a 2000 SE Max with H&R springs and stillen front and rear sways. My front tires are wearing on the outer edges. It only happens on the front tires. There is no indication of an alignment problem. Anyone have a suggestion of what may be causing this.
Thanks

When were the springs installed? Was an alignment done right after? This begin after the springs were installed?

Put a level on the side of your front tires fore and aft and see if the bubble centers. That may be a crude method of checking camber but it works. A slight negative camber, tires leaning in at top, may be desired but if you have very much the tires will wear on the inside, not outside. Positive camber is not good and will cause the tires to wear on the outside.
If you do have a camber problem then get some camber bolts for your struts, install them and then get an alignment. If you have the alignment shop supply and install them it will become a very costly alignment.

If both sides are wearing equally on the outer edges its likely excess toe in. Could be excess negative camber if both sides were equally out of range.

It could be tire pressure or maybe you just corner too hard (driving style).
