When I burn out or pop the clutch only when the car is first started up, I get a very loud thock thock thock coming from under or around the front passenger door. It sounds like a metal to metal sound. I also had this sound when I was staging at the track, so I guess that rules out when the car is cold. I checked everything from strut assembly, cv joints, wheel lugs, towers, just about everything in that area. Anyone have this problem or a possible guess as to what it is?
