Since I had the transmission replaced I've noticed that the clutch pedal will pulsate when I push it in, but only if I am over about 3500 rpms. The higher you are in the rpm band the more it pulsates, and it's downright violent at about 5000-6000.

I've been noticing this for a while, and I wasn't sure if it was just because of the design of the clutch in the Maxima, but from what i've been hearing lately it's not normal. I talked to one of my friends, who is a mechanic, and he said that most likely they damanged the clutch when they reinstalled it, or they reinstalled the transmission or the clutch. He said there is a small chance that the engine itself is the cause of the problem, but he doubted it.

I don't why I've been having so much bad luck with my Maxima...I just hit 4000 miles on it...I hope I can have everything taken care of soon, I don't want to be taking it back to the dealer once a month

Anyone know what the lemon laws are? in NY state?
