2002 Bra on 2001?

2002 Bra on 2001?
My folks just bought a 2001 GLE and it came with a Bra, but the bra says it is for 2002 and up. Will it fit on the 2001.

The bumper is a different design along with the grill and and few other things. It might but it will look awkward like the 97-99 Max I saw trying to sport the 95-96 it looked weird.
