clear side markers

i'm looking to purchase clear front and rear side markers. procarparts seems to have these for nearly 1/2 price of anywhere else. any experience w/ this company and product?

also, "legally" do i need to place red bulbs in the rear side marker and the amber bulbs in the front side?

thanks...

Procarparts is good. Get them from CustomMaxima.com, they are cheaper.

Legally? Depends on your state laws.

In California you do. I used LED 194's in them. Many other ORG members have them too. Leftcoast was the first ORG member I saw in person that had them, and I got them right away. I love them ! They look great at night ! I got them on Ebay !

I got mine from procarparts, Everything was fine, but it did take a little long for them to arrive. Other than that i have no complaints.

Custommaxima seems to have the best price. Currently I'm following some EBay auctions, trying to get a better deal that way.

dammmmmmmm dixit....your car is ...its...dang...i'm at a loss for words

as as for procarparts...i have many words and none of them are nice!!
I won the front and the rear clears from them on ebay and paid via paypal....they REFUSED to ship to my confirmed address because my city does not match the zip (according to them) despite me sending them another penny to reconfirm my confirmed address...they still would not ship. Then when I told them to cancel my order they had the NERVE to say that they would charge me a 10% restock fee for lights that had NEVER friggin shipped. I then of course immediately reported them to paypal and ebay and got all of my money back

if you buy from them and if they ship...enjoy your lites for me...my lights are stayin stock

Well you could always do what some members do and just get clears for the front and leave the factory reds in the back. I have yet to find a led/bulb that looks red enough to not look pink.

Make sure you take your time sealing them, because even tho I did, I still have some moisture. I have to take them off and do it again

Should we use the silicone for both the front and rears? Someone told me that only the rears need it because the wobble. But the whole idea of using the silicone is to keep moisture out right?

I tried LED's and wasn't fond of them. I switched to the Polarg xenon's all the way around and I like it much better.....

Yeah for the moisture, I'd use it on the front and back. I found they both got moist.

its a clear silicone. the bottle of the one i bought was mainly white. you should also be able to use the silicone they use for sealing windshields, those two are pretty much the same.
