'exhaust'ing dilemma

Well, guys, i get my car back today after its been in the body shop for a week. i can't wait. but i also have a dilemma. i have about $300 more to spend on mods this summers before I go to school. I saved a lil bit before getting laid off from my internship, being downsized sucks. anyway, i really want a ypipe to go with my addco RSB thats on order. but cattman and stillen are both about 400, and budget only makes the ypipes for 4th gens according to their website. so, that leaves me with warpspeed... i've called twice in the last two weeks, and its been a week or two more both times...

now, have any of you guys delat with them before. i've heard they've been saying the same thing for a year now. and i have to do something before i go to school, and if its not gonna be in production soon, then i'll just get a custom catback with a flowmaster muffler, less hp, better sound... i'd much rather have the ypipe, but i'll settle for the catback, any suggestions or opinions on whether i should believe the warpspeed people?

ok, i checked out some stuff this afternoon. My car will be ready in about an hour. YAY! And I found a muffler place I could get the catback done. aluminized, crush bent, 2.5" piping, no resonator, to a flowmaster 50 series. they couldn't give me a price estimate without the car itsel;f there, but they seem competent which makes me happy. they have 40 series in stock, but those would prolly be too loud for me. anyway, another point in favor for catback over warpspeed slow ypipe design...

anyone have comments?

oh, this place can put in my RSB wheer cattman gets them off backorder too...

The Warpspeed pipe appears to be a "pipe dream" (I had to make a play on words after your clever little subject title).

Go with the Stillen or Cattman... Warpspeed is still in the test fitting phase. I know they are $100 more, but they are available NOW!

yes, but those are about 400 and then i have to add install, which will get me about 500... i can get the catback installed for about 300... 2.5" crush bent aluminized pipe with no resonator for about 220, then the flowmaster 50 series for about 75-100. 200 is a big difference, especially when you're a poor college kid...

anyone else with warpspeed experience or predictions?
