Why?
If your not going with white bulbs, because your worried about the
then just do NOT have any bulb.
IMO, the red looks pink and I'd rather have NO light than pink or dingy orange. So far, I've had NO PROBLEMS with the PO-PO in Arizona, California, and Nevada and it looks clear in the daytime and disappears at night.
Perfect solution in my book because it's FREE.
BTW, where did you get the TL bulbs and how much?

I hated the LEDs. They were pink. And the amber was just fugly. I opted for the polarg's. A little bit blu-ish, but MUCH better that the LED's.

One of these days we'll have to meet up, so I can check out your ride. I'm not sure what you've got, but I still have my "old" setup in my 2K1 headlamp housings if your interested. The PIAA Super White H4s and Polarg G34 Visuals(?) with the AMBER running filament disabled looks WAY BETTER than stock IMO. Basically, I had NO yellow in front even during the daytime, except when the blinker was flashing.

I replaced ALL f my bulbs... Turn signals, fogs, headlights, and side markers. The turn signals, fogs and headlights are Toucan xenons. The side markers are polarg's.......

Stealth Running Lamps
It just eliminates the yellow running lamp filament from the DUAL filament 1157 bulb that is both a running lamp and blinker. If your bulb is white and matches your H4 bulbs at night you probably wouldn't care to do this.

I have Red LED's in the back, and Amber LED's up front, and I think they look good, but that is my .02
I keep color cuz I already have enough mods that can get me in trouble (20%, NOS)

If you don't like the color, but feel pressure by the POPO, so it will NOT be worth the white/blue look, then just do NOT have ANY bulbs.
They look WAY better during the daytime and WAAAAAAAAAAY better at night withOUT ANY attention grabbing color for the POPO to care about or mess with.
I'm sorry, I just don't understand. IMO, it is a million times better looking to NOT have ANY bulbs than to have RED/AMBER bulbs in your clear corners/running lamps.

DO NOT bump another 6 year old thread just to ask a question like this that could have been posted in the newbie thread (which is a sticky).
