Ok, so I have searched and searched and can not find anyone who has the AE Kit on a 2K2. Rumor has it that the rear and sides will fit but most feel the sides on the 2k2 are nicer than those on the kit. The question is, does anyone have a pic of it? I am thinking about the rear...I like it and the Stillen, can not decide. Any ideas?

 

Go with the stillen rear.

 

if you can totally choose between the two, i'd go w/ the stillen. looks more "complete" and much sportier.

I would go Stillen too. I would get it myself, but cars with kits get unwanted attention in SD... SDPD attention.. !

 

Yep, I am always getting tailed by cops these days. I guess the loud exhaust and tint does not help either!

 

i don't think it looks outrageous... i think it looks conservatively aggressive.

Hmm... that doesn't make sense. You say if anyone wants one, go to the specified link. However, the link is to a WTB thread for yourself. It would make sense if you were actually selling one, not wanting to buy one.

Anways, aren't the AE sides the same sides that went on the 2K2 SE's?

 

I was actually wondering the exact same thing about linking the thread when he wanted one himself.

In answering your second question..no the AE sides are not the same as the 2k2...the AE sides are more vertical bringing the bottom of the car out towards you, while the 2k2 side are more curved...following the lines under the car.

 

it's more of your exhaust than the kit...quite honestly, Stillen rear valence is one of the most conservative kits out there..

 

hey ethan whats the difference in the 2k2 sides and the stillen sides. I have the rear and sides on the way and to me they just look a little more round than the squared off 2k2 sides

 

To me that's basically the difference. The Stillen ones are more vertical like the AE sides, but have more rounded edges.
