Fuel Pump Replacement- drop tank or access panel?

I've done a search, but can't seem to nail down the detail on a 5th gen. pump install.

When you do a fuel pump replacement do you have to drop the tank, or is there an access door in the rear floor of the car (as on previous models)?

as I recall

panel access, under the seat. not hard but very messy.. you have to disconnect the pressurized fuel line...
