Last night Track results.

Well, if it wasn't 102 degrees I might have run better! My best last night was 15.3 (which was actually my first run as soon as I got there!). I seem to still be having a little problem launching thought, but at least my 60's are down to consistent 2.3's.

Side note: There were a lot of Maxima's there last night. At the end of the night the guy in the tower made a comment "Seems to be a lot of Maxima's here tonight, and a couple of them running in the 14's". I think there were 6 of us running last night, 2 of which were 02's.

Sorry I couldn't make it. My car is screwed up and I didn't want to get stuck out there if it died. Having trouble starting it.

On a side note, I had an INSANE race with an old school Prelude on the way home from work last night. We got it up to about 110 on the 51 before I shut it down because of traffic. We were neck and neck the whole time.

What was the other 2k2 running? I only got to see one of his runs and it was 14.9x.

My best time was 14.90 @ 94.66 and that was with a crappy 2.42 60'. This was my first time running a manual at the track.... I confirmed my fears that I'm a crappy driver I lined up with that blue Spec V three times where he ran 16.3 - 16.7 yet he beat my 60' times on 2 of 3 runs.

I know practice makes perfect but my car was not happy after 9 runs. I now have a slight vibration when I let out the clutch in first.

Good to meet some of you, sorry I didn't have the Max, but I'll bring it out in the winter. I had a blast in the Stang tho'. Bottle on street tires is always a challenge, ended up running 13.43@107 last nite. We'll have to do it again soon, but let's all meet up somewhere first, maybe have dinner first.

It seems like its that Spec V driver that couldn't drive. He's about 1 second off of where he should be.

yeah, i hate running in the heat here in Texas. Its around 90-100 degrees. I only took my SpecV to the track once, ran a 15.4 (not bad for stock) Just wanted to let u know what a properly driven specV can do, as that guy obviously couldnt drive

yeah last night did suck, my best run was my first was well which still sucked, that 100+ degree weather really killed. the best run i had was like a 16.2 and i coulnt even break 86 in trap. and damn 2000 SE u really pulled on me that one pass we made (i was also white , but i had the stillen aerokit, just to narrow it down) but i still hated the temp of last night. im still trippin about that Ford Diesel van that was running high 15's all night! thats some funny ****.

yeah that blazer with the blower the size of another engine was bas A$$. that jet black hyabusa was tight too i think hr ran 10.2 at 139.
that one old guy on the dirt bike was really ****in me off though, the dumba$$ wouldnt stop revin it, even in the pits he wouldnt stop talk about anoying. yeah i want to head down when it gets cold as well but u have to wait like 2hrs to run once, i mean its backed up all the way. also its gonna take 4ever to get through inspection due to all the cars, but the 35 degree weather in Jan makes the car run like its on tweak.

Nice, It's be worth it at least once or twice I'm sure. That guy on the cycle was seriously an *ss, his bike wasnt even that fast compared to the other ones there and his sounded terrible. Oh well though...I need a supercharger...

yeah his best run was a mid 12's for a bike thats horrible! yeah it worth it but for like one run only, i think thats enough since every1's times got worst with each run. but after that ford van ran a better time then U, Adam, and I we all need a S/C maybe this calls for a group deal on S/C. ill stock up on em (yeah right i dont even get **** off them!) but im down to go again in the winter but like i said im goin 1 run only i dont feel like being at the track for 4hrs to run twice.

The weather had a huge effect on the cars. My best mph was barely 91, and usually I get at least 92+. Funny thing was my best time was right at 7:30 when I got there(before the sun even went down), I tech'd and got in line and ran 15.3!! It was all down hill from there!

At the end of the night, someone in an 02' ripped off a 14.7@96mph,and thats in 100 degree weather!
