Ok. Ive been gone for a few days... Boy, I missed it all ! .. All I can say is that the wing Ethan got is NOT the one that they had on their show car. It sticks out so much further than the original one. I think it looks HIDEOUS from the side. From the rear , it looks like it was supposed to look. They definetly sent you a that IS NOT like the one that was on that Green Goblin. I would've called them ane raised HELL ! Now Im happy I didnt get it.

Ethan, I think the wing looks like crap on the car. As for growing on me, I really doubt that. I think it sticks way too far out, looks enormous and unproportional to the rest of the car and I'm not feeling the rear brake light mounted on it. It ruins the entire theme of the car and looks like rice. I think the stock wing looks much better. Although I do have to congradulate you for having the guts to go through with it.

im pretty sure the green APC maxima is a GXE. my guess is that they mounted it closer to the rear windshield since they didn't have stock holes to use.

Im a little late too........

Ethan......I like the wing, just not "as is"

It makes your car look "butt Heavy" If we had the AE front lip, or some sort of subtle front lip for the 02's....it would balance it out.

GREAT JOB on the install, IMO dont get frustrated with the initial results, see if it grows on you at all....at the end of the day, YOU are the one who has to like it or not.

yo buddy

let me enlighten you

we all realize thats a 2k-2k1 lip. that pic was posted to point out that i was talking about the touring lip instead of the stillen big mouth (even tho i clearly said touring lip). as i said in that post, stillen is advertising the lip for 2k2's

and im using your pic as my sig? thats strange, the car in my sig looks like a black 2k2.

dont flatter yourself

ok~...in case you missed my 'smiley' next to that 'why are you using my picture?' line, i didn't mean anything by it..

when i read your last post, you had a picture of my car with the front lip and 17s and NOT your 'normal' sig pic there..which now i can cleary see that you switched back to your 'normal' sig pic..but it really didn't matter because i didn't ask you to remove the picture or create a scean, which you are obviously trying to do now.

now as far as your comment about me 'flattering' myself? please.....

oh btw...you don't need to 'enlighten' me..

I think you do need a little 'enlightning' Maxima.org is set up so that a persons sig is only showed once per page. His sig did not show up in the post (with your pic in in it) because he allready had a post on that page. Then once the page changed you thought he switched his sig back, but he never did. So now you owe someone an appology

BTW guys I put the spoiler on a few inches back today just to see how it would look. It is definatly a marked improvement but with the wing in this position tee holes show in the trunk. I will up-load the pics in a few for you guys to see.

i think you're right about the position of the wing...but i think it'd look cool on other color-ed maximas too as long as they have some kinda of aggressive kit on...

I agree but if you look closely to the way the mounted wing looks on emax's post (1st page), it looks like its designed to be mounted where it is because it lines up just right with the contours of the rear end, tail-lights etc... moving it up may cause it to look even more awkward! Have to play around with it and see I guess...
