A tip is a tip. Brand doesn't matter. Don't pay over $50.

does anyone know the inlet size for aftermarket exhaust tips? what about outlet size? can the muffler cut out handle 2 x 4" tips? anybody with pics of aftermarket tips? i'm really not interested in changing the entire exhaust or muffler...kinda like my ride to be more on the quiet side.

That image appears to indicate that when the vents are closed, low-end torque is increased. I assume that's based on the mistaken but prevalent notion that backpressure increases torque. It doesn't.

i say get a stainless steel one and get it tack welded at the local muffler shop. i dont think resonated tips are gonna make a difference on the stock exhaust. there are a few tips at nopi.com.

I got mine from Pep Boys for $20 each. Bolt on installation, 3" outlet, inlet is 2.75" but adjustable.
