Injen Intake.......Dealer Problems
OK. I am not one of those guys who post without searching, so please don't tell me to do a search on this because I already have.
Now, I have not bought the Injen Intake for one reason....I don't want to get hassled by my dealer. I know that legally they can't do anything unless they can prove that what I modified to my car caused the part in question to fail. As sensitive as the MAF's are I know that it will eventually fail.
My question is........
If I were to buy the Injen CAI, should I take it off every time that I go back to the dealer for service. For those of you with the CAI that leave it on when you go back to your dealer....Do they hassle you at all?
Thank you for replying to this post, I know that every one is sick and tired of hearing about Sh*t like this, but I have no one else to ask.

I don't have CAI, but I do have frankencar intake. I took my car back several times with the intake on there, didn't have any problem from the dealer. Rencently my MAF went out, and I put on the stock intake, and they didn't say anything and fixed it. Hope this helps

Yea, same here, every time ive taken it to the dealer, as long as it isnt engine work, they give me no hassle at all with warranty work. Some workers gave me props one trip there. Depends on the dealer I guess.
