Every time I pull up at a stoplight some pos ricer comes out of nowhere wanting to race.

Example: Sunday night on the way home, I stopped for a light and a not to ricey older gen supra pulls up next to me. The stated we should make a go at it, so I said WTF lets go. I let him go first because I knew there was no-way in hell he was going to win. I gunned it and pulled up next to him and did the AOL "good-bye" and pulled away. I saw signs of heavy traffic so I shutdown; needless to say the kid had ***** he just kept going "I am not f**king my car for his dumba$$".

I what a real car to f**k with me, like the time I got my a$$ handed to me by a Lexus LS400 or when I got raped by the BMW 540i.

Ricers leave me alone.

so far I haven't had a chance to race any ricers, but there was this one guy in Dodge Avenger who wanted to race once and I smoked him like crazy

 

I bet you it's the rims. My experience is that most ricers will race almost anything, expecially if it's got tinted windows and rims. And being that Maximas are sleepers, the ricers think they have a good shot at winning.

Good luck in getting the big dogs to play (GS400, 540i), most drivers of these fine machines are older. Unless you find one with tinted windows and rims....oh what a cycle.

You got beat by an LS400? Must of been the 290hp version. My dad's got a 94 (I believe 250hp) that I am sure I could smoke.

 

I think I should clear something up. The rims are only two weeks old and the problem with ricers go back since I got the car. And yes I did lose to a LS400 but that is when I had my 95 GLE. Never raced one with the 02.

the new ls430 is 0-60 in about 6.3 i believe, or close to that. that can take a 2k2 auto like me. i wuldnt race one. but the only young people who would race would be the football players who got em on 20's.

 

I've only had one chance with a "ricer" but it was because i felt provoked. Each time the green light comes up he'd slowly ease into it by rolling to 5-10mph or so then gun it with this extremely loud and droning exhaust grumbling. He wasn't really going anywhere fast in my book but a provocation is a provocation.

Couple lights down and after having enough of it i lined up with him during his rolling start and put the pedal to the metal when i heard his can.

Needless to say, in the next few lights, he didn't do that anymore.
