I've had them for about 3 weeks now. Nice rims. You should like them...much nicer than the Mille EVOs.

PS Your car looks sweet!

I just used some IBIZ wax on mine. Very easy to keep clean. I also love the fact that the inner part is black so you can't see the dirt. I got mine rebalanced since Tirerack did a lousy job with the wheel weights. Got mine at the very back edge so barely noticable. I also want to replace my center caps...not sure if there any other caps that would fit. They don't seem to have a website either.

how about some close ups?

looks great, but i would be interested in some close up shots. i was also considering these rims, but wasn't sure about the "polished" look. do they look like chrome up close?

tires

the tire rack guys tried to tell me that the sumi htr+'s are good tires...in term of longevity, ride quality, and low noise. i know you just got your rims/tires, but do the tires ride "quiet"? thanks.

yep these tires are unbelieveable ..they ride smooth like factory. i was expecting a harsh ride, but i went on a long run to Canada this weekend and everyone in my car enjoyed the ride. i would say they worth the $130 they selling them for...oh no noise at all...

I went with 235 as well. Would there have been a problem with 245?

right now i still have some room for 245/45's.. i wanted that, but i wasn't certain, since i was doing suspension combinations. so i got 235/40's instead. i don't think you and i would have had any probs using the 245's
.

I'm going 245 next time. I just find the metal edge of the rim is so flush with the tire.

Really? What PSI are you running. I'm running 35psi and there is pretty much no overlap at all.

i stayed with factory recommendations for my car, 32 PSI all the way around... hot air rises... 35 can increase to 40 and blow your tires away...i like to be safe, besides are you getting a hard ride from 35 PSI?

Check your PSI at night as well. I find with the temp drop that you can loose a few psi easily. I would rather be a little high than low. I find cornering a bit better at 35 and no noticable rough ride. I think I am going to drop them to 34 cold. You can go 44psi before any problems.

For performance go with the 245/40/18, for a little better ride, go for the 235/40/18.

Nice wheels ! I think you would have to chrome a set of EVOS to compare them. The Evo's have the rivets, so you either like them or hate them..... Nice shoes on your whip though !

I would like to see a close up of this wheel to see how the black inner part of the wheels looks, and how much do they weigh?

I'm going to take close up shots today of the inner part and post them . i'm not sure on the weight, but i do know they are light weight rims, since they are not chrome.

Thanks. Yours rims look nice also. I had looked at your rims also, not to disrespect or anything, but i wanna stay away from rims that have revits and fine spokes. I was in an accident last year OCT and this is what happened. I chosen these AT INOX, because they look strong and also nice.

Same reason I bought them. Don't like the rivets and the spokes are bigger on the INOX. They seem strong. Plus the INOX are a new and orginal while the EVOs have been done time and time again. Saw a GEO metro with the EVOs!

Yeah, they're light and come in a 17x8in sizing, so they'll suit my needs.

18's for me and the INOX look better. If I need light rims it would only be for the race track and I would probably go 16's.
