I NEED URGENT HELP~!!!! hello
i accidentally locked my keys in the trunk of my car... i managed to pry open the door and fit a coat hangar to press the unlock button. but when i opened the doors the alarm went off and that must off cut the power to the trunk release. now i am sitting in the middle of my street with my car's battery unplugged and my rear seats partially disassembled.. i have a question for u guys... will any 5th gen maxima's key work in the fold away rear seat lock hole??? if i get that unlocked i can just reach in and get my keys... anyone in boston please help!!

how bout going to a nissan dealership and asking them for a new keyfob? does he need to be at my car to program it? how does that work?? man i just need my trunk open!!
or how bout sending an 9V electrical current through the fuse of the trunk release... will that work?!?! HELP!

FYI if you give your nissan dealer your vin # they can cut you a new key for your car. With that you should be able ot open your trunk. Have fun and good luck.

this's a stretch. take apart the dash area by the steering column. Then find the wire that disarms the stock alarm. Zap it with 12v (or 14...not sure which) and that should turn it off.
I'll do my best to obtain a service manual and find out which wire it is.

i musta made 600 dollars worth of damages and paint scratches to the door of the car. i really scratched it up pretty bad with the flat head screwdriver. im just glad its on the inner panel where no one can see. i will touch it up tomorrow morning.

we must seriously LOVE our maximas. the moment they're in trouble, we will put down everything until the problem is fixed. i'm definitely not criticizing because i'd do the same thing too. heheheh
