Yes, it's air-to-water and it would come with everything. One problem, they do NOT make if for the Max, yet! I'm working on Cattman and his possible Vortech SC kit supposedly coming in December, so maybe he can convince Vortech. Any kind of straight through Universal kit would work though.
The Aftercoolers' radiator is mounted in front of the main radiator and has it's own water pump and reservior for water/ice/coolant. I'm betting you can EASILY mount the aftercooler right where the stock intake scoop used to be inbetween the exit of the SC and the TB. A section of the SC tubing between the SC exit and the TB will have to be cut to fit the Aftercooler.

Now what is this S/C kit Cattman coming up with? Is it the same Stillen kit or a Vortech blower with his modified parts? Just wondering if you gonna make me wait or not.

You 100% right, I Can easily get that aftercooler to fit in that location. I think if I cut the S/C piping an route the pipe into the aftercooler and then ou from the cooler into the TB, then it would work.

I'm not sure exactly if it's REALLY going to happen yet, but he's talking about having a company(I'm not sure I should mention names) prototype a kit based on the Vortech SC by December. The only details was the estimated price would be ~$3600 for the basic kit with more advanced packages available PLUS a 3yr. warranty, which I believe Stillens' kits do NOT have.
Again, this was just BS in the wind between me and Cattman, so I don't want to get ANYONES hopes up(we've seen this a few times already!). He did mention wanting to "borrow" someones Max for about a MONTH! Ouch, I could do it, but I would NEVER allow it out of my sight plus it's not going to be made here.

Exactly, it's just replacing 6-8" of straight intake pipe.
Don't you need to do some tranny work anyways?

I am going to get the tranny VB done at a local performance tranny shop, I dont believe in Dons or Level10s mod. This guy did max n' out's car, he did an awesome job on some custom work that has never been done like posi-trac, strenthened the tranny internals, I mean made it shift and put down more HP than a 5spd tranny.

Max n' Out's tranny shop sounds like the way to go. An AE LSD trans or "posi-traction" would be $$$$, but worth it in my opinion to get the SC power to the ground.

That is a stang aftercooler, in this example the resivoir (<--spelling) would be mounted where the batterey is, and the batterey relocated to the trunk.
I think if you relocated you batterey, you could probably retrofit the top example and place the resivoir where the batterey was.

I don't think fitting it is the problem, it's the $1500 and fact that NOBODY here has done this. A GOOD properly sized intercooler with EFFICIENT plumbing is going to cost at least that and it seems the pressure losses with peopels' custom intercoolers are hit or miss.
Some people LOVE the intercooler look. I'm not all that giddy about it, especially after they've seen some miles. They get all dinged up and look BAD. With the aftercooler you'll only see the heat exchanger(radiator), which I hope isn't that big.
