whats funny is that the used one will come out to be the same price as the new one because the APR on the new one is .9% and the used one will be around 7%. If you do the math they come out to be fairly close.

I just bought mine 3 months ago and it cost me around 22K (I think this is not bad at all). Of course it wasn't a full load car, but good enough for a stock version. So, it's time to upgrade now!!!

Well, if you decided to buy MAX and you want it immediately, there will be no better time than now. And there is still reasonable amount of time until 2004, when new MAX is announced.

And there is also a lot of difference - next one will be 8 cyl.(more power) with different body probably.
But I still love my MAX
Maybe or maybe not on the depreciation. If the new max really does get pushed upscale(price and perhaps less sporty) by Nissan, the 5th gen max may actually do better than previous or 'normal' rates of depreciation in years past. In previous years, new models of the 4th and 5th generation max were replaced by much the same car with much the same price. If the 6th gen max goes up by $3-$4K to match a new brading niche, previous generations may acutally depreciate less given the higher price umbrella or replacement cost of a new 6th gen max.
what do you think?
what do you think?
I think the new max will be over 30k with any options
And being more expensive shouldn't hurt our resale value.
I am hoping they price it up there so my 2003 6 speed
becomes a wanted car. Hard to beat the performance for the
money as it is now.
