Can anybody tell me how to 1. get the codes when the SES light is on, and 2. what the codes mean.

I have absolutely NO performance mods on the car and the gas cap is tight.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

Probably you should just go to the dealer. It will be under warranty. Try tightening the gas cap first and resetting the ECU

 

you have got to either buy a scanner or go to somewhere like autozone and they will read it for. apparently manufactuers have only released certain codes to them so they not have it. if you buy one of the new digital scanners, it will list the codes and what they are.
