Fog light fuse keeps blowing. What to do?

I was using electrical tape to cover up one of the contacts on the parking/turn signal lights so that it would only blink when signaling and not be on all the time. It didn't work so I took the tape of and just left the signal lights alone. My foglight fuse blew, so i opened up the fuse box under the steering wheel and replaced it and that instantly blew also. What could be the problem?

I would retrace what you had previously done, some how you have caused a short. Does the fuse blow when the fog light switch is on, off or both?

I put a replacement fuse in and it blows as soon as i start the car, when the foglight switch is in the on or off position. I went through about 4 fuses that way.
