Why do you need a light weight battery?

HOw many pounds can you shave?? and would it make a significant difference??

I figure more weight over the front wheels would be better traction..

The Dyna battery weighs 13.5 pounds. Quite a weight savings. A lot of guys I know use them but you can't leave your stero on long with the engine off or it will go down pretty fast. Some of the guys run electric fans at the track and have ran it down. Not much in the CCA department.

There is also a battery called the Hawker that weighs 13.5 pounds and is only $69.95. Sorry but I don't have a web site to refer you.
