Question about traverse link recall?

Hi guys,

I had my traverse link recall done about two weeks ago. My steering feels a little bit tighter now, but I still get that knocking feeling in the steering wheel when going over small bumps in the road and stuff.

Some people here said that recall eliminated that.
I think it is better than it used to be, but still there. I guess I will have to live with it.

I didn't have knocking before or after i had the recall done.

I also have the knocking

Danny,

I also noticed the knocking sound in the steering when going over bumps at low speeds. The link recall tightened it up for about a week and then back to the knocking sound. I guess it is normal but I do not notice this in new Hondas and Toyotas I drive. I think there is still a problem or they replaced my defective links with more defective links.

Take it back to the dealer. the same thing happened to my car after the recall. when the disassembled the front end they damaged the traversing link rod ends. they should have told you when they did it, My dealer did. they ordered the part and fixed it immediatly! It made a knocking noise every time I hit a bump. But was fine before the recall work! Now everything is great!

No knocking here either. Felt a little tighter for about a day and then I began to think it was all in my head. No difference whatsoever.
