Yellow fog pics

I know this has been discussed many times, but I have yet to find an answer through pics. Has anyone successfully duplicated the lexus yellow fogs with H3 bulbs or a yellow spray or both. If so, can you please post pics.

Thank you.

PIAA Crystal Ion's are good but definitely don't look like the Lexus yellow fogs.

it's a film that they either insert or spray onto the fog light.

Russ did it with some bulb that made his fogs look yellow, you may want to ask him.

Hella Yellow Stars

I purchased Hella Yellow Star bulbs that throw yellow light very well. Looks very sweet and they are a decent price. I got them from RapidParts up in NY. I have only found these bulbs on VW related sites, and here is a link http://www.rapidparts.com/Pages/vwc025p.html

Not scanned in, I can get some in a day or two. I might be able to borrow a digi cam and get it sooner. From straight on they look yellow but from an angle they are multi-shade. Blue, white, yellow mixed together. The light that hits the road is pure yellow.

Which bulbs are you using, 85W or 110W?

85W, Stock is 55W and since the actual assembly is so small I did not want the extra heat involved. I had some problems with my Altima and high watt headlights also drawing too much power through the harness and causing shorts. I'd love to have as much light as humanly possible pumping out the front, but a short in the harness is a very expensive fix

and here's what the stock ones look like just for comparision. From the top picture I only notice slight difference in the coloration(probably one of those look better in person kinda things).
Cost would push me just to spray the film stuff on my fogs to give them the lexus "look".
