THose with painted MUDGUARDS!

How are they painted?
I mean, is painted all around, even in the back flat portion of the mudguard? Every inch of that mudguard is painted the body color?
I need to know how to paint mine.

Just the outside part, not the part that is facing the wheel well.

A suggestion since I also have a 2000 SE like you. I bought the prepainted mud guards from Nissan for a 2001 the same color as my car(mine is Icelandic Pearl). They are generally cheaper than having yours painted, and paint does not stick well to the plain unpainted black plastic ones on the 2000's. The full list price on all four is $94. Call Dave B. as Tustin Nissan for the Maxima.org discounted price.

Here's another question about painted splashguards: For those with 2002's, our cars come with the stock side sills. So if your car came from the dealer w/splashguards, did you get all 4? Or just the rear pair?

The early 2002s only had rear splashguards if any...but they have front ones that fit the sills now for 02s

2001

I painted my splashguards only on the outside part and a little bit underneath. I loved the way they looked on my car before I put the rest of the $tealin' kit.

Is that side skirt part of the molding of the car on the 2k2's or is it a separate piece that can be put on, because it looks like an option on the 2k2 Altimas. If it is separate, I wonder if it would fit the 2k-2k1 maximas............
