just curious to see how things went. i'm in the process of hunting down my own conversion set at local junkyards. hard time finding a vlsd, but i'm sure you know that already.
i'm especially curious to see if there's any surprises with the hydraulics or electronics.

 

The conversion is almost complete. We are all done except for one thing... the stupid passenger side drive axle doesn't work (the driver side is different also). The part should arrive early next week, but for the time being, I'm driving a 300ZX TT.

The manual VSLD tranny is a pain to find. I actually tracked down one, but the front end of the car was so damaged they didn't think the tranny was still good. If you REALLY want VSLD, buy a new tranny and get the other conversion parts from a junkyard.



Many thanks to DAVEB (Dave Burnette) for finding all the parts for the conversion. I know it was a pain hunting everything down.

I greatly appreciate mingo (Daniel) and Turbo95Max (Matthel) for helping out on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We would've been done if I ordered both axles.
