Installed Injen intake
Installed Injen intake
Hey org. members,
I recieved and istalled my Injen intke on my 2K3 Max yesterday. The install was easy and took a little more than an hour. The Injen is really a straight forward install (the hardest part was putting that red breather tube on the intake side [I will replace the red tube with a black one]) The sound is nice at full throtle and quiet at any other time. I dont feel any torque loss (like the Stillen intake) and the perfomance is great! For those of you who have an automatic like I have, the fitment is great and the perfomance is there.

A member by me (buzek) installed this intake on his 3.5.
It looked like a piece of cake. SO we stroll on over to my 3.0, and..."holy hoses, Batman."
It looks like a lot more work on mine...any 2k-2k1 help??

The easiest way I found to put the filter on the end of the pipe is to install all the piping and clamps first and then push the filter on from the bottom of the car under the front bumper. Made that part a snap.

I have driven my Max a lot the past few days (just cruzin' and also really hard) with no service light. I am compleatly satisfied with the Injen intake! I went to a local auto parts store and a guy with a 2K Max was asking about my Max. He started with my wheels and asked if I did anything else to my car? When I raised the hood and he saw the Injen intake and the Stillen fstb he was blown away.
