K&N Drop-In Means No CAI??
I'm new to the whole intake seen. Quick question: If I add a K&N drop-in does that mean i can't add a CAI like Injen, frakencar, stillen, etc. Is it true that when you add a CAI the housing for the drop in is removed and you will no longer have use of it? Please clarify.

You are correct. If you wish to add an aftermarket intake you basically take out most (if not all) the stock airbox.

So then basically people that buy the k&n drop-in don't really want to add a CAI or plan to do it in the future? Also, this might be a stupid question, but the CAI is much better than a drop-in correct?

Well, not really. You could settle for the drop-in filter for now and when you're up to it take out the entire assembly and add the aftermarket intake.
It can also work the other way around, if you have an aftermarket intake and wish to go back to stock - just take it out and reinstall the stock airbox/filter.
CAI is better than the stock airbox for sure. That's all i can say for that matter

If you are looking for performance, skip the drop in. At first, I was hesitant to remove the stock airbox, but after reading some of the writeups on the OSCAI, I realized how inefficient our stock system is. It was made for noise reduction, NOT performance.
If I were you, I would start with the $60 Berk. Then progress to the Frankencar or Berk midpipe. The drop in filter will yield you virtually no performance gains.
