Got a kill of a Honda Civic
Got a kill of a Honda Civic
I was just heading out to get me some chinese. Driving down route 37 in seaside heights I see this Honda cicic pulling up pretty quick So I slow down to see what I am dealing with. It was a stick with an exhaust in it and 18 inch rims. So I let him pass me but then I fly by him. At a traffic light we were lined up. He's revving up his engine thinking he can beat me I just look and can't stop laughing. We both take off and I smoke him off the line. By the time I hit 4o I had him by 2 car lenghts. Then I shut it down at 60 at 3 cars ahead of him. Next traffic light he says good run I smile and say let's do it again. This time I give him a head start. Doesn't matter still smoke him. Well just another kill my Max. ANybody out there raced turbo civics. Let me know How you guys did. I want to race one.
Re: Got a kill of a Honda Civic
You don't want to race a Turbo'd Civic unless the driver doesn't know how to press the pedal.

Not on my Max i haven't. But most of the Turbo'd Civic's i know put out 210hp to the wheels. With a body as light as they are it's easy for them to dip into the 13's. Your mileage may vary however.
Btw, thanks for the explanation on the ignition

what gen civic was it?
civic sounds and feels fast when you got the engine revving, but you know your car is slow when you get killed by a DODGE CARAVAN DRIVEN BY A SOCCER MOM!!!
uhh....wait....that didn't happen...uhhh...i'm just kidding, just disregard that statement

if you meant to say the car was a stick-shift and also had exhaust work... that makes sense, but, how did you know he had a stick shift when he pulled up to the stop light? did he show you the shifter?

plus, he has 18" rims... of course it's not going to be fast. what next, racing kias with neons?
i don't understand why people choose certain races.
