In my opinion, the Xterra is Nissan's ugliest model. I can't tell what trim you got, but if wanted the factory SC, why not a Frontier? I know they have the look that has to grow on you too, but I think they look better than an Xterra. Or even better, why not a Pathfinder and stay with the VQ?

I bought it for my fiancee. She has always wanted an Xterra. The thing is immaculate and we got a killer deal on it. It is an XE so it's not supercharged, but it'll be the perfect second vehicle.

It is a 2001 XE- with Sport and power packages with 22,000 miles for $17,800. Pretty cool, huh?

V6 or 4cyl? Regardless, I think you still got a good deal. I checked Kelly Blue Book and even the 4 cyl with options is over 20k.

now you can get her signed up at an XTERRA club...hope you have 2 computers. i see a silver xterra in the parking lot at work. the guy must do some seriuos off roading. the xterra is clean only on wednesdays, all other days it's got mud and crap all over it. looks sweet all dirty like that. thats how an off rad vehicle should look IMO...congrats

It's a V-6 XE 4x2 with the sport package. I got a killer deal. Bought it from 2 cops too so I know it hasn't been abused.

I actually joined an Xterra forum and it sucks! The place is empty and the questions are all 4x4 related. Not too much modding you can do to a 2 wheel drive truck.... Plus my fiancee has no interest in taking care of her car.
