I would do them black or silver. Keep it clean looking.

Anything but yellow. Check out dba's car. He has black with red. Personally, I'd go with black calipers.

I tend to agree with black or silver.

And definitely not yellow.

Are you using FoliaTec? I have that stuff on my Celica and I'm very happy with how it's lasted for over a year now.

Hey MAXRAY, after doin mine recently I can suggest to paint it Silver, it look so good no ricey, more kinda classy, everyone who look at my Silver Anodized painted caliper think it is chrome very very nice make your wheel and dimpled drilled look even better. Good luck.

Cheers

Foiltec epoxy kit for me. $35. Takes about 3 hours.

I used the engine paint at Walmart, spray. I used the aluminum color and sprayed in a cup and brushed on the caliper so it didn't get all over the pads and the stainless clips (looks mor detailed).
Then I sprayed the spindle part of the hub and on the roter up to where the brake pads make contact. Don't worry about over spray here because the pads will clean the roter in a perfect circle. Look great!

Hey Maxray....go with the foliatec paints...my experience has been superb with it (and I have tried the high temp paints)...so far 1 full year and not a chip or blemish, plus its easy to clean. foliatec has to be mixed (paint and hardener) and then applied with a brush. A good brush is the plumber's flux brush...you know, they are quit small but do a good job...and go silver!
HAVE FUN!

Go for red. I got red but my car is sunlight sand, when those red calipers flash as my chrome 18's spin, oh what a beautiful sight.

I bought the paint at Canadian Tire, because I'm at office right now I dont have all the details, pm me and I will give you all detail paint code, website and the how to do. To make a perfect job you have to remove the entire caliper assembly and bleeding 4 brakes after but it is possible to make an almost perfect jobs without having to remove the entire caliper assembly. I took me about 4 hours per wheels, ya I know it's long but I'm a perfectionist , so I thouroughly cleaned the caliper assembley with a metal brush that goes on a drill, I also clean the brakes system and lubricate the brakes system with special grease. I suggest to paint with spray it make a much better coating.

Cheers

do you need to wash off/rinse off the brake calipers after spraying the brake cleaner? or do you wait for it to dry and start painting?
