If you're running a .042 Jet now and going to a .047 that wont do it. I had to dial in the dual stage to get the time. The slicks were small and I kept roasting them off the line. My first stage was a .047 jet and my second stage used an additional .042 Jet.

You'll get as low as 13.6

On the street tires sometimes I would get better times when I was using less Nitrous.

You need to edit the 1/4-mile post "Title". It still shows your old time.

BTW, how do you set up a dry "dual stage" setup? Two sets of solenoids with one nozzle?

I can't edit the topic name. The moderators have to do that.

The dual stage is two solenoids and two nozzels. (EFI DRY)

Just copy it to a new post and delete the old one.

Can you explain how a dual stage works and activates? The standard single stage EFI dry kit has two nitrous solenoids, which connects to only one nozzle. A 2-stage EFI dry kit would have "dual" everything(2-more nitrous solenoids and another nozzle), except the fuel and nitrous jets would be different sizes, right?

Or can you run off only two solenoids? If so, how is this done?

SR2,
Just pointed those Acura guys to your video of you trashing that Trans Am. Nothing like a little salt......

Seems like OK guys over there - they seem to respect the Max.

13.7? Was he stock? I sure hope he was for his sake. A 13.7, no wonder it looked like you killed him by so much, it wasn't even close.

How's about a Trans Am forum?

Here's a small Trans Am forum. Went to see if any mention. None.
Probability low that the TA was even a member.
http://pub18.bravenet.com/forum/show...num=1535485737

But I'm betting that guy in the video would not be mentioning this race if he was on that forum.

I noticed you had a 2.1 60ft time with the slicks. I think if you could improve that a bit, you'll get an even better time. Mid to low 12s maybe? I know Jime ran a 1.8 or 1.9 60ft with his 4th auto on slicks. I forgot what he ran. I think a 13.0 or 13.1? That's with the 100 shot of nitrous. And you have a 2k2 6spd, you imagine what you could run if you nail down a 1.8 or 1.9 60 ft.

OK... i just deleted my initial response. I decided not to sink to your level. Perhaps you could actually read my dyno sheet and come to Rockingham one weekend and allow me to demo.

You also have given NO proof of the info you posted in this thread
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....threadid=94844

So i suppose since you can't even keep your lies straight between your debates and your profile. You are some 13 year old kid who can't even drive daddys car. I tell you what kid. Have Daddy drive you to Rockingham one weekend and I'll even let you ride in my car as I trip the lights in the 12's. Would you put a cork in it then?

Dude,
There are a lot of us here that know SR2 and his car. You picked the wrong person to step up to.
He's got a video, a timeslip, whatever you need to satisfy your curiosity. Regardless, welcome to the .org but please try to tone down your first posts. Calling Bull**** after 3 posts shows you do not know what the hell you are talking about and your maturity is now in question for future posts!

Please lurk a while before typing and maybe you'll learn a few things about board etiquette and general politeness.

Know how to make an entrance, huh?

You really don't need to start your time here off with a bang - respectful works quite well. And then you can gain your own..

Welcome again,

Shaydz

Edited:: Man, I just read a thread you posted in. I cannot even believe I wasted those words on you. Grow up and leave - you don't have a max and probably not even a car yet. You lurked for a couple of weeks and then posted your "156mph dual CAI Maxima but I have no pics or proof".
I take back the welcome. In my eyes (and I am a tolerant orger), you're done here.
