I have seen both... and I like the Stillen kit better. You won't regret it after you put it on.

seen em both as well...i like the stillen a lot more...especially if you plan on going with an aftermarket exhaust...stillen has a cut out for the muffler where the AE kit doesn't...

I saw an AE at the dealer today (during my ill fated trip to the service department, but that's another thread). It was very hard to even tell that it had a kit on it, but it did. It is very subtle. Oh, and those polished rims looked OK, but the center caps didn't match in color in the sun and the look wasn't as nice as I thought it would be.

Stillen kit all the way for me..

I have to agree with Kev. The stillen kit
has a bit more of a (THIS AINT MY DADDYS
2001 AE MAX) raw slammed feel to it.
I think it looks PHAT.
Trust me.

I for some reason like the AE kit. I think its a better deal. I just dont like the fact that if I want it on my car , I need it to be painted. AEs dont come in sunlit sand.

I was thinking about getting the anniversary maxima body kit but if you get up close and look at it, it looks cheap. Really cheap.... I would definately go with the stillen kit.

Stillen is the only Kit available....

I would stop thinking about the AE kit. Dave at southpoint nissan said there are on hold due to installation problems at the factory. Dave said it could be up to another year before they come out. Sorry for the bad new, but it should make the decision alot easier. I was going to get the AE for cost only also. Looks like now is the time to start saving for the Stillen Kit. I do have to say that I'm not disappointed in having to get the Stillen kit. The kit is sweet....

I want to add a body kit to my car...I'm not all that big into this stuff, but I think they look awesome. I want something that definitely differentiates it from most "sedans" but at the same time, not something too flashy. Does anyone have a pic of their Stillen kit so that I can see what it looks like....

I'm also not too big on having to have something painted...and being in college...a few hundred dollars makes a big difference to me...So, if I go with the AE kit, will I have any problems with it fitting my 2k SE max?

Thanks.

For what's out there on the market right now, I'll say that the Stillen kit looks the best. Plan on getting one myself.

Definitely go with the Stillen Kit. It looks ten times better in person too and I believe its worth the money after its on the car and you see how good it looks. I paid $700 for the kit and $600 for paint and install. Looks Sick!
