2003 Maxima six speed or 2003 G35, what is good price on 03 Maxima
I test drove the 03 Maxima SE six speed and really like it, but I am affraid of the change of body style in 2004. On the other hand, I like the G35 but I need a manual six speed. I have not driven a manual for about 1.5 years and miss it dearly.
The Nissan dealership in Orlando (Classic Nissan) is offering me invoice + $330 advertisement fee. I saw someone post some dealership is offering $500-700 below invoice, who are the dealerships.
Thanks,

If you really like the 03 then get it unless you have another choice. Why are you afraid of the 04 btw? Is it because it'll make your car depreciate faster? That's a fact of life, there's no escaping that.
The G35 is rumored to come out with a 6spd shortly, same goes with the Coupe. So if you can wait a bit longer, do so and drive both cars so you can compare them one more time. Make your choice then. Chances are the 6th gen Max will be out as well.
As far as that price given to you by Classic Nissan, i'd suggest you find another dealership. "Advertisement fee" isn't something that's standard nor needed unless the dealership just wants to make some extra $$$.
Any dealership will offer the car to you at invoice or even below invoice, it's just a matter of negotiating on your part.

The invoice on my 2003 max had an advertising fee right on it. I guess some groups of dealers pay regional advertising fee and it is charged to them right on the invoice. I saw it right on the factory invoice.

Quirk Nissan in Boston has been advertising 2k3's for $22699 for almost 3 weeks now. That's 1k under invoice in their daily newspaper ads, who knows what haggling could get it down to. I'd assume that the largest volume Nissan dealer in your closest metropolitan area could cut you a similar deal.

WAIT TIL FEB FOR THE 6-SPEED! the g35 is a MUCH better car. RWD, more refined, better looking taillights/overall interior/exterior design, better handling (independant suspension finally vs. max's archaic beam susp), Skyline platform, rumors of increased hp to 280? outperforms bmw 3-series in all dimensions!

Just to clarify, as far as I know, the sedan won't see a 6 SPD until February. However, the same tranny will be seen in the 350Z and the G35 Coupe so you can compare earlier.

The 6spd is due out at the same time as the coupe this fall, per a few guys over at freshalloy who are giving/receiving feedback to Infiniti engineers on their new cars. I think its been confirmed that the G35 6spd sedan and coupe have the same gear ratios as the 350Z. I've also heard from a private source that the manual coupe and sedan will be rated at 280 hp. After driving the auto sedan, i'mn pretty much sold on the G, just waiting for the stick......

Running changes to the 2003 G35 sport sedan include:
· The addition of a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission (February availability)
· Standard xenon headlights on Leather Luxury model
· Addition of sunroof to Premium Package
· Available satellite radio (choice of XM or Sirius)
