if hes auto then off the line it should be close. if hes 5spd then he could get a jump if hes a decent driver but you should be able to pull from 30 on, but the only way to tell is to just go do it. you could just do what the honda boys around here do, they hop out at the light, take out the air filter then they race, they lose, they put it back in.

i raced an S13 240SX in my 95 auto when i have my intake and y-pipe and completely useless knock sensor, he said he drove good and launched good and i beat him by several cars to 90. you should do about the same maybe a little closer.
