body kit paint job question

do you guys think i can drop off my kit at a body shop and let them paint it, so i wont have any downtime? this one bodyshop said they cant because they dont know if the paint will match since they wont have my car with them. but i heard my paint color number or whatever is under my hood so they dont need my car since they can look up the number and do a perfect match. am i right or wrong? by the way its sterling mist, and they said its a really hard color to match.

You're right, most body shops could do it. Just check around for best price, cuz some placed will really screw you.
