Buffing your max...good/bad??????

I have heard so many different opinions on whether or not buffers are good for the car. what is the bottom line? does it come down to what kind of buffer you use, or is the user? If you use a buffer, what kind do you use?

Craftsman 10" orbital buffer works for me. Definitely less effort to apply and remove waxes.

Orbitals buffers are great, it's really hard to mess up even if you are a novice. But stay away from rotary buffers if you are not experienced. Those are the ones that cause swirls and can burn the clearcoat. I would recommend the Porter Cable Orbital polisher 9336 SP.

Now, if someone really knows how to use the rotary, they can take your car to another level, even the Porter Cable couldn't reach.
