vibration at stop light after traverse link recall done

Hi guys,

After the dealer relpaced my traverse link(a recall case), my 2k2 6spd (4k miles) vibrates a lot at stop lights when just come off the high way. It is like giving me a electrical massage.
Other than that case, it still vibrates much more than before the recall was done.

Anyone has similar experience?

thanks

Maybe it's just a coincidence. I wonder if you have a bad motor mount...

I have a barely noticeable engine pulsation when at a stop light that comes and goes. It got better after I went from Mobil to Shell gas.

I have noticed a slightly uneven idle in my 2K2 SE, but this "feature" did not change with the transverse link recall, nor should it. If your engine is running differently now than before, it is absolutely NOT the result of the transverse link itself. The transverse link only influences the front suspension. It has nothing to do with the engine.

Is it possible you have a bad tank of gas? Try putting in some water remover and some octane booster in your gas, then top off your tank with some high quality 93 or 94 octane fuel. See if this helps at all. If not, bring the car to the dealer since you may be experiencing an real problem with the engine.
